Nothing I can find wrong with this lesson. FAR clearer than other lessons on da tube and gives a reasonable starting arpeggio (or whatever you call it)

@129jasaxos An arpeggio, not a chord.

    CLEAN YOUR FRETBOARD

@BreakingGlass77 It is clean, that’s just what the neck looks like when the lacquer wears off, a true sign that the guitar has been played long and hard.

Kirk Hammet used that same arpeggio for creeping death since James is playing in A

@megaluisdeth – Actually, Hammett used a similar lick in Creeping Death but it is without the hammered G string 12th fret note at the bottom, and the top note stays on the 17th fret of the high E string the whole time. The bad part though, is that the chord underneath Hammet at the time he is playing it is an E (not an A), so it actually sounds terrible where he does it.

@KillerMcGinty yea i noticed that…. I know he doesnt do same thing but yea. Still a great solo. I dont think it sound terrible but thats just me

    May 11th, 2010 at 01:50 | #22

@megaluisdeth – The whole solo isn’t terrible. Just the one spot where he plays the “wrong” arpeggio. If he would have moved it down (or up) so the notes were E G B , it would have sounded a million times better in that particular spot.

@KillerMcGinty ….I dont know Kirk play what he want to play maybe it would sound better. Do you know any good vids on Harmonizing guitars?
