This guy’s products are top drawer – no ‘Secrets’ bs here – just a very straight up explanation of music (good rockin’ blues ‘n’ jazzy) concepts and techniques – a great DVD – lots of those ‘Secrets’ products spend a hellish eternity going over (and over and over) stuff any semi-motivated student ought to know, wasting time and dvd space – not so here – very well written and produced!

Hi Joe, you might remember me from my comment on the “Chord Harmony” DVD and you pointed me to another DVD of yours when I asked for something for a raw beginner. I assume this is it? Will chord construction also be taught here as well as common progressions?

@dajoler Hi there – actually, for total beginners who need the basics of chords, strumming, rhythm, etc. I would suggest this one:
4gqF3Dt1C7M (put that in the youtube search)

You can find it on our site joedocmusic*com under the DVDs.
For chord construction, 7th chords, substitutions, etc. the Chord & Harmony Guide DVDs are where it’s at. cheers, joe
